Shipping policy

At ChocMo, we take great care in crafting our chocolate confections so you can enjoy them as if you were visiting our Café in Poulsbo. We’re committed to delivering quality, but due to the delicate nature of our products and certain shipping limitations, please review our policies below before placing your order.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Schedule

We ship orders based on the following schedule to ensure your chocolates arrive fresh and undamaged:

  • Monday Orders ➝ Ship Tuesday

  • Tuesday Orders ➝ Ship Wednesday

  • Wednesday 2-Day or Ground Orders ➝ Ship Monday

  • Wednesday Overnight Orders ➝ Ship Thursday

  • Thursday–Sunday Orders ➝ Ship Monday

We ship 2-Day orders Monday–Wednesday and Overnight orders Monday–Thursday only. We do not ship on Fridays or weekends due to the risk of melting in transit.

We do not offer same-day shipping.

Warm Weather Advisory

If you’re shipping to a warm climate, we highly recommend Overnight shipping. Ice packs are included at no extra charge, but chocolate is sensitive to temperature changes and prolonged heat exposure.

Delivery & Carrier Responsibility

We use trusted third-party shipping carriers to deliver your order. While we guarantee timely shipment from our facility, we cannot guarantee delivery times once the package leaves our possession. Weather events (storms, wildfires, etc.) or carrier delays may impact final delivery.

Once a package is marked “delivered” by the shipping carrier:

  • ChocMo is not responsible for packages that are stolen or damaged.

  • We will not issue refunds for chocolate that melts or is otherwise compromised after the first delivery attempt.

  • We recommend shipping to a daytime/business address whenever possible to avoid unattended packages.

Signature & Tracking

Our carriers may leave packages without a signature if no one is available. To prevent damage or theft:

  • Ensure someone is home to receive the package

  • Monitor your tracking email (sent as soon as your order ships)

  • Contact us if you’re having trouble with tracking—we’re happy to assist in contacting the carrier.
